AppLab Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 20, 2026

AppLab ("the app") is developed by DiHax. This policy explains how the app handles information.

Summary

AppLab does not collect, store on any server, share or sell any personal or device data. Everything the app does happens on your device.

What the app reads

To show you what is installed, AppLab reads information that Android makes available about installed apps:

This information is processed on your device and shown to you. It is never transmitted by AppLab.

Permissions

AppLab does not request the internet permission and cannot connect to any network.

Sharing you choose to do

If you use Share, Save or Copy, the content you picked (for example an inspection report or an APK file) goes to the app or location you choose. If you open an external lookup link (such as VirusTotal or Google Play), it opens in your browser and that site's own privacy policy applies.

On-device assistants

On supported devices, AppLab offers read-only App Functions that an on-device assistant (for example Google Gemini) can call when you ask it to. Only system-authorized assistants can call them. The information returned is the same as what AppLab shows on screen. How the assistant handles that information is governed by the assistant provider's privacy policy.

Data retention

AppLab keeps only your app settings (such as the theme) on your device. Uninstalling AppLab removes them. Backups of app data are disabled.

Children

AppLab is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
